Plumbing

IMS has a plumbing crew who are highly skilled and trained on the principles of accuracy and quality.  From tenant finish outs, to high temperature process piping, IMS will install a quality system on time and within budget.  With well over a hundred years of combined experience, we take pride in all of our installed plumbing systems which include:

Prefabrication of plumbing:

Through R&D research and the integration of our CADD detailers, we have been able to prefabricate 20%- 40% of our plumbing and hydronic systems.  Prefabrication of plumbing fixture batteries and all phases of piping allows IMS the competitive edge with less installation time.

Sheet metal

Our high tech sheet metal shop, with coil line, and sophisticated plasma facilities; have produced some of the most quality sheet metal construction in South Texas.  Cutting fabrication time by 80% in comparison with other contractors, and working in-house and onsite, has passed the savings to our customers, making our sheet metal shop both efficient and economical.

Our sheet metal division provides sheet metal fabrication services for:

Coil Line Division

Our coil line is capable of producing straight duct at the rate of 70 feet per minute.  We are also prepared to fabricate 26-14 gage sheet metal.

Plasma Division

With our sophisticated programs, our plasma facility at IMS can fabricate both standard duct and specialties.  Our Plasma division is also capable of producing round and oval fittings faster than contractors who take to order from their suppliers.

From split systems to large tonnage refrigeration systems, our qualified pipe fitting and millwright crews will get the system up and running the first time.

Welding

IMS specialty welding crews are certified for the installation of hot and chilled water systems, steam process piping and structural steel welding. 

Electrical

Our electrical Division provides a smooth coordination between all MEP trades, contractor and owners.  One contractor three trades, takes away the headaches of having to deal with more than one sub.  Our electricians are certified and licensed with more than 50 years of combined experience.
